Tanesha Myles is a social entrepreneur with 30 years of extensive experience in non-profit management, government administration, and faith-based organizations. Tanesha is known for her strategic thinking, transformational leadership style, and cultivating strong partnerships to achieve collective goals. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside political appointees and collaborated with Howard County Public Schools, Prince George’s County Public Schools, Bowie State University, the Howard County Housing Commission, States Attorney Aisha Braveboy, Dress for Success, Shepherd’s Cove, notable faith-based leaders, media personalities, and most recently, Starbucks.

Tanesha is the founder, president, and CEO of P31GIRLS, Inc., a 501©3 organization in Prince Georges County. She navigated through a global pandemic, expanded programming, and strategically grew the organization's active membership in the United States, Canada, Indonesia, Australia, and London. Her influence and leadership are far-reaching. She is also an executive coach with Women in Technology Mentor Portege.

Tanesha's impact extends beyond her role as the founder, president, and CEO of P31GIRLS, Inc. She has also made significant contributions as an executive coach with Women in Technology Mentor Portege, helping to empower and guide women in business. Tanesha serves as a judge for the Miss District of Columbia/Miss America Competition and chaplain at the University of Maryland, Capital Region. She is an ordained elder and member of the City of Hope International Worship Center in Elkridge, Maryland, and Twenty 1st Synergy, a global network for Apostolic Kingdom Leaders.

Tanesha Life’s purpose and work is to help girls and women realize their greatest spiritual, creative, intellectual, and physical promise through education, small groups, a diverse community culture, and sisterhood. Elder Myles believes that by providing a supportive environment and resources, girls can unlock their full potential and become influential leaders in society. Through P31GIRLS, Inc., she has successfully implemented programs that promote self-confidence, personal growth, and mentorship opportunities for girls from all walks of life. With her unwavering dedication, Elder Myles continues to make a significant impact in the lives of countless individuals, inspiring them to embrace their strengths.

 

Her passion for social change and dedication to empowering women and children in marginalized communities have earned her recognition and accolades within the sector. Honored in 2023 with the State of Justice Award, as well as a receptient of the Mission Possible Award and the Outstanding Community Partner Award.
