At P31GIRLS, we believe in the power of community and sisterhood. Our girls not only develop a strong sense of self, but also learn the importance of supporting and uplifting one another. Through our hands-on learning experiences, they cultivate skills that go beyond academics and prepare them for success in all areas of life. With our passionate staff guiding them, our girls become confident leaders who are ready to make a positive impact on the world around them. 

 

We work with schools an in communities to provide counseling, mentoring relationships, safe spaces, and programs that give girls a competitive edge.  Our nurturing program intentionally builds academic agility, genuine confidence, and compassionate character—preparing your daughters to thrive in life, as well as gives them a competitive edge. The P31GIRL builds her curiosity and confidence through active questioning, real-world problem-solving, and thoughtful small-group work, alongside sisterfriends from uncommonly diverse backgrounds. P31GIRLS small group sizes, mentors/coaches involvement,  foster an atmosphere of personal attention for every girl. The close relationships that develop between the girls and their mentor encourage learning that is meaningful and relevant. 

 

P31GIRLS also works with Prince George's County States Attorney Aisha Braveboy’s office. The program provides a comprehensive range of services, including mentorship, counseling, and skill-building workshops. By addressing the underlying issues that contribute to delinquency, P31GIRLS empowers young girls to make positive choices and successfully reintegrate into society.
